I Remember: Castlevania 3 Round Up

I just finished uploading my review of Castlevania 3 on YouTube and with that we wrap up January’s “I Remember”. I think  the series official return started off with a bang and I’m looking forward to the next 11 featured games for the series for 2012. If you missed the announcement before, every month “I Remember” will feature a nostalgic  video game from my past and will celebrate the game in the form of my thoughts on the game, a live broadcast of the game being played, your thoughts and finally a review of the game.

We didn’t get any video replies about this month’s game, so I hope you guys will participate in future installments. On a side note, I’ve been setting my cell phone themes to play sounds from Castlevania and will be changing them based on each game with pick for the month. Nice eh?

On a final note, while the round up will be posted on the blog in a regular fashion, you can also find it under the “I Remember” section for easy retrieval. Enjoy and I hope to see you next month!

The Review

Castlevania 3 was easily the best incarnation of Castlevania on the NES. With great music, game play, multiple characters and multiple stages this game ended its legacy of awesomeness on a high note.

I’ll never forget the first time we brought it home from the video store, I was instantly sucked into the game and couldn’t believe that I could actually change into different characters! It made the game so fresh!

Dracula’s Curse will be reviewed this month on Gamer Logic and it will also be featured on this month’s Gamer Logic LIVE! Stay tuned for more information!
