As a kid, I collected baseball cards, basketball cards, and comic book cards. Did I ever think I would have a trading card with my face on it that people could hold in their hands? Never in a million years.
A huge thank you to Walter Day for giving me the honor of being a part of his tremendous trading card series that celebrates the movers and shakers in the world of video games. I also have to thank Old School Gamer Magazine for giving me a fantastic platform to spread the word about the industry I love.
Video games sparked an interest in me when I picked up an Intellivision controller for the first time. I may have been a little kid, but it was evident to me from the beginning that each game had a story behind its creation, and I wanted to know more about it. More so, I wanted to share that love and curiosity behind those gamers with others.
Through video games, I discovered that I have the ability to create. To write, to film, to make music, and to communicate. Like those inspired by an imaginative book or an incredible piece of cinema, video games were my inspiration. It is still my inspiration.
The recognition is incredible, and it just sparks my passion even more. I’m just getting started, folks!
