In the future, machines have taken over the world, and only a small rebellion against these cybernetic terrors have a chance to save the world. Sure, the story is pretty much a carbon copy from the Terminator series, but the real reason you want to play Blazing Chrome is for its side-scrolling, action-packed platforming that will bring you straight back to the heyday of when this genre was at its peak. With five stages, four characters, plenty of bosses and adjustable difficulty, Blazing Chrome will easily scratch your itch for a Contra and Metal slug experience. Developer JoyMasher has recently released this game, so if you want to lock and load, you can do so on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
