2064: Read Only Memories Integral is the Nintendo Switch version of the Snatcher inspired adventure PC game that came out in 2015. The game was pegged for an April 2018 release, but days before its actual release day; it was announced that it was being delayed again for quality issues. A new release date was kept under wraps until the publisher released a brand new trailer for the game, stating that it would be released on July 26th, 2018. Oddly, a few days before the 26th; the game completely vanished off of the Nintendo Switch eShop; which left many people scratching their head and questioning if the game would still be coming out. July 26th hit and no listing of the game could be found on the eShop. Even stranger, the developers of the game have not made a statement regarding the disappearance of the game; nor answered fans on what the status of the game is going forward.

I was personally looking forward to picking up this version of the game for multiple reasons, but frustrated by the handling of the release; I opted to pick up the mobile version instead. Delays are a completely understandable thing, but leaving your customers in the dark as to what the status of your game is not only a quick way to kill your fan base; but your company too. It seems like MidBoss, the company behind this game already has a pretty bad reputation: Wage theft, sexual assault, hostility and other allegations have been thrown at the company, so maybe it finally imploded.
