I’m really enjoying my time with the Call of Duty 4 beta, in fact it has been quite some time since I’ve had the desire to play a multiplayer game this frequently since I stopped playing Gears with my friends a few months ago. Not that I don’t like Gears anymore, my schedule doesn’t always meld well with my friends and thus we are unable to play together.

Anyways, the beta is super smooth, running at a constant 60 fps and very little lag. Any lag I have encountered usually results in some major lag that ends the game, but this has only happened to me on two occasions. The weapons and unlocks that you can get are quite awesome too, really this game reminds me a lot of Battlefield 2 for the PC.

That game kicked a lot of ass and so does this….I’m buying the full game this November!
